Prostheses
Many sizes of Silicone and Foam Breast Prostheses are available. I have Jodee, Mystique, and Classique. The Silicone provides a more authentic look, with its natural weight and drape. It is not damaged by chlorine or salt water...so feel free to go swimming! The Foam prosthesis is approximately 60% lighter than the Silicone, but that means it can 'ride up' since there is less weight. Each of the prostheses will fit into a post-mastectomy bra, which I also have available, or you can create a pocket in your own bra. Just sew a piece of material onto the inside of the cup part of your bra, being careful to leave an opening on the side, (toward the underarm), large enough to fit the prosthesis. Elastic works really well on that opening. (Call me and I'll try to 'walk you through it' over the phone.) Actually, some people just drop the prosthesis into their bra without the 'pocket'. As long as you're not doing cartwheels, the prosthesis falling out due to a lack of pocket will, probably, not be an issue for you.
By the way, even if you have not had a mastectomy you could benefit from a prosthesis. It can also be used to augment a smaller bust or to create a bust that was previously non-existent.
